Thousands of enthusiastic onlookers on the motorway bridges celebrated the Bulli convoy to the VW plant in Hanover: the colorful parade with 350 VW buses was the highlight at the end of the 1st Bulli Summer Festival.

The party in Hanover was the final event of the BULLI Summer Festival: For four days the fans of the cult car celebrated a colorful summer party on the Allersee in Wolfsburg. About 1000 Bullis from 16 European nations were on site. The furthest arrival with 1300 km was a Norwegian who arrived in his 25 year old T3.

At various Show & Shine competitions, the proud Bulli owners presented their lovingly cared for automobiles: from self-crocheted wheel covers, 600 kg home-made music systems and the fireplace atmosphere in the bus, countless curiosities were to be admired.
