Also this year we want to admire the most beautiful representatives of their kind on the show stage. Our jury consists of experts from the scene, who will skip the summit camp on Thursday and rate the vehicles. Here you will find a list of the categories and a short statement which will be searched for.
Important information for everyone who does not have a ticket for the Summerecamp but still wants to take part in the Show & Shine competitions: No problem! Please park your vehicle in the free festival parking lot and pick up your Show & Shine ticket for participation in the competition in the check-in tent.
Show & Shine categories 2018:
Most beautiful bulli-tattoo / your love gets under your skin. This is where the most original tartoo wins.
Most beautiful T6: We are looking for the all-round harmonious VW original equipment.
Most beautiful T5: This year, we want to hand over the T5 Cup to someone who has changed his T5 the most. Of course, we only evaluate what the TÜV passes.
Oldest Bus / Couple-Team: It counts the added age of vehicle + driver and front passenger.
Most Individual Vehicle: Have you customized a vehicle for you and your hobby? Then you have a good chance of winning the trophy.
Most beautiful LT Bulli: It's about the best overall appearance. So a mix of interior and exterior. Accessories are important to us too.
Most beautiful T4: Show us your beach bulli! The prize gets the hottest summer T4 model. Accessories on the roof and maybe a matching trailer can help.
Most beautiful T2 and T3: Again, we are not looking for investments that are only in the garage. Your vehicle should like to be able to see what it has already experienced - regardless of whether it is stickers of your trips, bullet holes or patina of any kind. We look forward to seeing that you experience the summer mobile and active with your Bulli.
Longest journey: This category is the classic and needs no further explanation. If you come from eg Timbuktu, write us an e-mail, so we can find you more easily on the site.
Most beautiful T1: We want to see vehicles here that are in use - no investments on four wheels.
Most beautiful California: Show us your personal Hotel California. The vehicle, which we find most inviting due to our summer sunglasses, makes the race.
Best original condition: Here we are actually only looking at the air-cooled T1 - T3, company vehicles from the fire brigade, police, etc. have good chances.
Club Champion: This is the prize given to the club, the WhatsApp group or simply the community that presents itself as the coolest.
